hello everyone :) i hope that everyone's doing beautifully and fantastically.

i'm attempting to revive this blog for this event -smiles- if you haven't already, read the title. it's been 3 years since we've graduated and now, most of us are turning or have already turned 21 this year -- so let's have a gathering-cum-celebration together shall we? and this period of time is more apt as well since all those who are studying overseas should be back already for the holidays.

i'm sure there's a lot that each of us can update everyone else on. you know, the usual gossips and sorts. -grins- then again, you can always discuss academic stuff as well, but why would you want to do that? also, it'll be a good opportunity for you to make up for all the missing 21st birthday presents, esp for those who haven't even given any yet. heh. actually, i think a simple card to anyone will be enough :)

so for now, the date is set as 14th July 2007 (Saturday). please do keep that day free. the place will be at engsiang's house so comfort is guaranteed :) the food style is likely to be pot luck (or we can just simply order in. again, suggestions will be great). as such, please do let me know if you'll be coming for the gathering. it'll be easier for me (or anyone else) to organise this event -smiles-

I just remembered tt Kees cannot eat prawns! Let's not eat at ubin seafood k? I was telling kees it's quite risky to eat there.
The venue's changed liao... NO MORE AT CRYSTAL JADE! rui suggested pasta fresca. So okies we'll be having it at Pasta Fresca instead. It's the one at bukit timah road, near 6th avenue. I've made reservations for 20 pple liao.

We're meeting at 7pm also instead of 630!

Will cost max 20 bucks i think.

i really enjoyed the performance last night; listening to the choir, finding myself humming to tunes that i'd thought i'd long forgotten, yiwen and i noticing alot of things from the programme booklet that reminded us of jubliation!, and most of all seeing many familiar faces on stage and in the audience [realising that even our juniors are now "alumni" :( ]

and since amelia says that if i wanna meet you guys i better plan it myself (haha~!), i propose we meet during the last week of may. we can go watch a movie (either DVC or Xmen), sing ktv, play pool, blading/cycling or have a BBQ at the park. =D how how? we haven't meet up for the longest time already! so pls respond yepx!

i'm fine with 23rd, 25th and 26th. concert's on 21st so we have a day of rest yepx.

dis is abit late, but in case for anyone who chks. i couldn't book xlb cos they dun accept reservations, so we'll be going to sakura gourmet in capitol square, next to cityhall at 7.30pm k :) its recommended by yoke's colleagues, sells a mix of thai and chinese food. haven tried it before, haven been to capitol square (but i printed out the map so we wun get lost later :P )sooo. hhaa, if anything thing goes wrong or the food is not nice, BLAME YOKE! muahahahha :D chked out the prices and its quite reasonable, so wun burn a hole in our pockets :)

buses that stop in front of capitol square: 111, 131, 14, 16, 167, 171, 36, 502, 7, 700, 700A, 162, 162X, 857. the building is nxt to stamford hse, and opposite st andrew's cathedral.

hello dears...

feel very... i dunno-- depressed most of the times when i go for choir these days...

really am shriveling up inside la. and i feel so alone some times... i can be surrounded by the choir ppl (and they're really nice) but somehow feel just feel very alone in their midst.

and increasingly upset by ms l tt i sort of broke down halfway singing today.

aiya damn hard to go for choir without u all.

and it's getting so so tough.... and it's worse that i keep thinking if only you all were here. and i try not to compare, or to think that i shouldn't be there, but it's just so hard not to.

and i miss you all more than ever, and it doesn't help that i see so little of you all, and rarely get to talk to you all.

and the worst-- i can't really remember how singing with u all is like anymore. all that fills my head every single day is that we're so screwed for syf and that i'm dreading choir.

hows everyone doing. you noe..i jus went for my first interview at MAS and other than all the cheem govt/econs questions they posted to me...they asked alot abt me (duh).
BUT the point i wanna make here is...I spent prob 50% of the interview talkign abt US (yes, you!!). It was in that interview room that I was made to realise that really...after 2 years of college life, Choir means the most to me. :)

you noe..they asked me..what are you passionate abt. i said singing, choir. they asked, why are passionate abt choir. and i was kinda caught by surprise. and the next second i rattled "prob i have never gone for prac for the repertoire. But i find myself wanting to go for prac coz my choirmates, those who share exactly the same passion as myself. The bonds make me passionate".

Perhaps i would not be able to get the scholarship (im quite sure)...but i guess the interview made me realise, even more, what and who are the more impt things in my life.

you are my icekachang, in this tropical heat.

there are some things which you know you cannot hang on to forever.

i'm afraid that after today, all we have left are memories, photos and abandoned string bits... not enough for me. i really wish we can hang on to this forever. you all have been one of the best things in this disorientating 2 years. finding 38 other people who just click together is really amazing. i looked forward to boring and dull pracs because of you all, making bleak moments more bearable. will always remeber the funny moments, the horrible basses and noisey big head tenors, the lame altos and my sops.like ps said, what we'd remember are not the golds, but the people we've come to treasure

you are my favourite desert..
so anyway even if we can never be the complete csa after this, just want to thank you all for being there. like fish said, you all are the best thing about hc.

seeing u all yesterday was really great.
for u are my love, my one atapchee someone i'd like to eat.

Except for 4/12 and 9/12, we will be having combined with the juniors for the 1st hour of these practices so please try not to be late.

For the Fullerton and Conrad sessions, what we will be doing is that the Alumni and College choir merge to form one choir and this choir will be split into 2 groups, each group will sing at either Fullerton or Conrad for a particular day but both groups will get to sing at both venues cos we will rotate ie group A sing at fullerton today and conrad tmr. Note that each group will consist of both alumni and j1 members.

As for the lunchtime office building sessions, only alumni are involved.
***J2s are considered as alumni ;)
